Image Histograms

   Please read section 12.2 of [RVC]_ and sections 9.1 to 9.3 of [PIVP]_.

This topic is placed as our first image analysis topic for two reasons. 
It follows directly from the introduction to the MVTB in chapter 12 of RVC.
It is also a fairly simple topic to start with. It also will be used in the
next topic on :ref:`monadic`.

We will complete a fairly quick tutorial about histograms.
